Windermere Wedding Photography
We love documenting weddings on the shore of Windermere, a lot of what we do could be described as Windermere Wedding Photography and we love working at The Storrs Hall Hotel. This wedding was special though. Luke and Emily made all the best choices for their wedding. The whole day looked fantastic. We were so taken with what we were seeing that we asked Luke and Emily if we could present these pictures on our blog much earlier than we normally would. They said fine, so here you go…
It was great bumping into Gareth of Aqua again and we reckon he did something spectacular with Emily’s hair. Emily looked beautiful, that dress was stunning and another wedding friend, Helen of Definitions did an amazing job of accentuating Emily’s natural beauty, Luke was looking pretty dapper too. Fred and the staff at Storrs Hall didn’t disappoint either. The outdoor ceremony with the white carpet runway looked wonderful. Kevin from Brackens dressed the day with gorgeous floral arrangements, and if the guests got tired of looking at the beautiful Emily and handsome Luke (as if) they had the Lake and hills to treat their eyes.
We almost never write a wedding report without mentioning the weather, especially in the Lake District… So, pretty much all day a huge black cloud loomed and we got reports of flooding in Manchester and an absolute deluge across the Lake in Ulverston but the only water we saw all day stayed in the Lake. We did think at any moment the rain would start and Fred followed us down to the Folly for some portraits of Emily and Luke with an armful of umbrellas, he took them back dry though.
Anyway, you didn’t open this link to read my rambling text. I reckon we tell wedding stories much better with pictures than we do with words so let’s let the pictures do the talking.
